A growing number of Utah kids from poor working families are losing their health insurance, underscoring the importance of reauthorizing and funding the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), policy experts and a congressional representative said Wednesday.

More than 50 years ago, Vera Black refused to renounce her religious belief in polygamy - giving in only after Utah prepared to place seven of her children with adoptive families.
Now, those children have asked the state to apologize to their mother.
They made the request two days after an Oct. 22 debate at the University of Utah College of Law that explored whether children should be removed from polygamous homes.
